Emergency Care Partners (ECP) Establishes a New Partner Group in Ohio

Cleveland, Ohio, February 23, 2026– Emergency Care Partners (ECP), the nation’s largest single-specialty provider of emergency medicine and emergency department management services for hospitals, announced today the recent establishment of a new group partnership, Ohio Emergency Medicine Services (OEMS).

As part of this new partnership, Ohio Emergency Medicine Services will provide comprehensive emergency medicine services to Salem Regional Medical Center. This collaboration ensures that the Salem community will receive high-level, physician-led emergency care supported by a national network of clinical experts.  OEMS will expand Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage to include weekends at Salem Regional Medical Center. This update will allow for additional patient flow and reduce patient wait times on critical days

OEMS prioritizes a patient-first approach to support its emergency departments while leveraging the Emergency Care Partners model, which combines local physician equity partnerships with a proprietary clinical analytics platform.

The partnership represents a natural alignment built on mutual principles and a dedication to high clinical standards. By joining ECP, Ohio Emergency Medicine Services gains access to a robust national infrastructure while ensuring that clinical decision-making is now in the hands of the local physicians who know their communities best.

ECP Chief Executive Officer Bill Yarbrough said, “We are very pleased to welcome OEMS and their providers as a regional physician partner group of ECP. The group’s strong clinical leadership and commitment to excellence make them an ideal addition to our national partnership of physician practices.”
